Special Early Delivery

Since we will be flying to TX next week to spend Christmas with my sister, her family, Mom and Dad and brother James and Sister in law Lisa, we figured that Santa better make an early special delivery soon before the time is gone. So last Saturday, Mom finished up her Christmas shopping, we headed over to Rivertown so the kids could visit Santa one last time. We waited in line for about 45 minutes and they literally could not wait to see him. Right before our turn a little boy shoved Becket down so he had a nice little rug burn on his face and was quite upset. But, he calmed down and as long as he wasnt looking at Santa, he sat there on his lap and smiled for the camera. Aria started rambling the minute she got up there- I have no clue what she was telling him. And Kai actually turned red in his face and was reciting his list as if he was a little nervous. It was cute. We asked Santa if he could make a special early delivery that night, since we would be gone over Christmas and he obliged. We had some dinner, came home, got the kids to bed and started wrapping, and wrapping and wrapping. We finally finished up about midnight! Christmas morning was great. All the kids were beyond excited to see their presents and we spent the whole day lounging in our jammies, listening to Christmas music and playing with our new toys. Kai got the razor scooter he wanted, Aria got her BARBIE princess bike (had to be specific, you know) and Becket a new lego table and chair from Santa. Santa was even good to Mommy this year, but I wont brag(-: Heehee.

So this week is filled with parties, Christmas programs, family get-togethers, you name it. Friday night we're hosting Luke's dept Christmas party at our place, Sat is an extended family party and Sunday we celebrate with Luke's side of the family. Good Time! Then next week, we're off to TX. Whew! Kind of looking forward to a little relaxation in someone elses house(-:
