So this feisty little guy has been "pooped trained" for several months now. Yay for me that I haven't changed a poopy diaper in 6 months, however, he still didn't have the concept of telling me when he had to go #1! This week the kids started VBS and he SO wanted to stay. I told him that when he is going potty on the big boy potty ALL the time, he too will be able to go to VBS. Not sure if that was the kicker or the fact that he was just plain ready, but I asked him if he wanted to start wearing underwear all the time and he quickly replied "YES!" The minute we got home we threw on his favorite pair of Lightning McQueen undies and he has been dry for 2 days now. He tells me every single time he has to go potty, even when we're out and about. (He took a big dump at Target Monday-I know, TMI-ha!) Love this kid. Becket you truly are a BIG BOY! (Don't let him catch you saying he's the baby or a little guy-he will let you know otherwise) I'm so proud of him and it's just in time for baby sister to come home!!
*Disclaimer: God knew I couldn't train another "Kai"- after reading through my posts with him, it was truly a nightmare potty training that child AT 3 1/2. One full year older than his brother. Thank you Kai for breaking me in ever so gently(-:
