On Tuesday am, March 25th, my 92 yr old Grandmother passed away. (Mom's mother) Even though we were never close, it's always hard to hear of death and never easy to watch someone go through the process of it. I guess it's our natural instinct to want to hang onto life here. But, the good news is that we know God has promised those who trust him a much greater life after this one. Grandma always loved to dress up and look "glamorous". I dare to say her favorite hobby was shopping (hmmm...does the apple fall far from the tree?) and she loved playing the piano-especially hymns. In honor of her, I put together a picture memory board for her funeral. I figured it was the least I could do to help and I always enjoy doing those crafty things. We are missing a few pictures, hence the open spot, which will be filled at the funeral home, but above are some pictures of the "almost" final product. Grandma Spach will be missed and we look forward to seeing her someday in heaven.
