It's hard to believe that it has been 7 months since the fire at my brother James house. This past Saturday we celebrated as he hosted a huge open house inviting over 50 neighbors, friends and family for a cookout. It was nice to meet the people that so willingly stepped in to help and great to see the final product of his house-it looks wonderful! We are so blessed to have him here with us and thank the Lord often.
Today Luke returns from Germany. Tomorrow Kai & I leave for TX. WOOOHHOOOO! It is my sister's 40th birthday this year so we are excited to be able to celebrate our special days together! I'll have to post pictures when I return as I'm sure we'll have many exciting and memorable moments(-: Luke leaves for Malasia on Friday. Aria will be going to Grammy & Papa Nieuwenhuis' for the weekend and I will return on Monday. I will miss my little girl! This will be the first time I have been gone from her for more than a night. I hate the thought of it because we are attached at the hip, however, it will be a nice break for me. Please pray for safe travels for our entire family over the next week.
