These past few weekends Luke has taken a few days off so that we could enjoy "long" weekends. Last Thurs-Mon we spent out in GH and had so many wonderful beach days. The kids absolutely loved the fireworks (especially Aria!) and we got lots of excercising in walking to and from downtown. We purchased a new bike trailer a few months ago and it has been awesome!
This weekend we headed up north to my brother's (jeremy) cottage . His kids Tanner and Haven are the same age and sex as ours, so they had some good cousin bonding time(-: Kai had a ball riding on the jet ski's, playing in the sand and exploring with his cousin Tanner. They spent most of the weekend in their undies as you can see in the picture above(-: The girls were busy as usual and we all enjoyed a relaxing weekend. We were actually pretty proud that we got 4 children all age 3 and under to bed in a 700 sq foot cottage! Kai shared bunk beds with his cousin and of course kept him up late both nights chatting his ear off. Although annoying at times, we kept going back to the fact that these are the times that memories are made. Thanks Jeremy and Tamara for having us! On our way home we stopped by our friends Zach and Lena's and hung out and went out for lunch. We realized that they were 1 mile off the beaten path on our way home. It worked out perfect. It was great catching up.
Now, we're headed for another fun filled week with activities each day. The nice thing is that these kids are worn out by bedtime and sleep like "babies"(-:
Happy Summer!
