I really can't believe we have a 4 year old already! Where have those 4 years gone? New Years Eve (Kai's birthday) we opened a few gifts, got dressed up and ventured downtown to our favorite Cafe, Big O's, for dinner. We had the whole restaurant for ourselves as they were technically closed for a private dinner party that started later that evening. It was great! We then headed to the New Years Early Eve celebration at the Children's museum where the kids enjoyed making party hats, noisemakers, getting their face painted, a dance party with a kids dj and ended the night with a ball drop. It was a riot! We were in bed by 10:30-losers, I know!
Today, we had Kai's birthday PARTY at Tarry Hall Roller Rink- I dont know about ya'all, but we had a blast! Maybe, it was a "blast from the past" that made it so fun. Kai loved seeing all of his friends and seemed to enjoy dancing under the strobe lights over rollerskating. He has been saying all day, "Mom, that was the best party ever!" Oh, to be four again.
