How can it be!??

Becket Jude started Preschool today! Oh my heart!! My baby boy!! He was SO proud and excited to go. In fact, he had prepared his backpack a good 24hrs in advance. This morning I walked him in and we found his new locker. He was trying to act so tough, but I could tell he was a little nervous. He put his bp right in his locker and hung up his coat. We walked into his classroom and the teacher welcomed him. He looked right up at her, smiled and then proceeded to blow right past her exclaiming "I'M 3!!!" He immediately went to the sand table and played with Emmet (Luke's cousins little boy). How fun they are in the same class. When I said goodbye to him, he looked up and said "Bye Mom! I love you!" Bwaaahhhh!!! The teacher just looked amazed (the other little girl that started today was bawling her eyes out). I laughed and walked out the door a free woman for 2 hrs...ok, so a free woman plus my precious girl Carys.  So proud of you my sweet Becket. I still can't quite believe it....you seem so small to me yet. You will always be my baby boy no matter how old you act! Oh, and just remember, one of the benefits of being child #3 is that Mom caved in and let you wear your new Buzz Lightyear backpack instead of the cute little trendy one I had picked out(-: A huge no-no with your big brother and sister-haha!
Besides the fact that he only weighs 25lbs, this boy is tough!
Finding his locker and acting like such BIG boy!
Could.not.wait.

I'm so glad you said he only weighs 25lbs. Our doctor just told us we could expect Elijah to be 26lbs at 3 years old and I could not imagine it. I think Eli is going to look alot like Becket...only not as well dressed :) Too cute!!

Hooray for Becket! I'm so glad you were able to get him started this winter. Back down to one kiddo at home! (well, part time). Your kiddos are such big kids now!!! Seriously, let's pick a morning we can hang out with just the girls. :)
