We promised Kai and his neighborhood girlfriends who encouraged him all along, that when he was completely potty trained, we would have a "Potty Party". (I know, big expectations to live up to for #2 & #3) So I waited for our first semi-decent hot weather and we hosted our "impromtu" party tonight and rounded up a few neighborhood girls. They brought him cards they made (so cute!)- one of the girls even gave him $1 of her allowance money (Awwhh!) They enjoyed cupcakes, lemonade and an evening of running through the sprinkler ball. (Highly recommend this $10 toy-it provided hours of fun)
We're so proud of our Kai- I guess looking at this whole ordeal with fresh eyes I came to the conclusion that the best part about training a 3 yr old is the fact that it's ALL AT ONCE! You don't have to endure the stages of pee, poop, night, etc. Amen to that!
Happy Summer! Tonight reminded me of my summers growing up- running through the sprinkler and having fun with friends. Oh, do I love these days.
