Last weekend we took the kids to see Santa. Kai had been dying to see him again, so we figured since they were all dressed up from their pictures here at the house, we would run them over for a visit. They had seen him in the am at the Alticor Kids Christmas party where they both rattled off their lists in detail.
But the Santa at Rivertown Mall must have seemed a little scarier to Aria. She started bawling the minute we set her on his lap. She settled down for a brief moment so the lady could snap a picture (sorry about the poor quality scanned photo). Becket was in a deep sleep as you can see and just snoozed away comfortably in Santa's arms. Kai was soooo excited that he decided to change his list. He sat there and told Santa all he wanted was a new house and some paint for Rich (the builder we fired!) Santa must have done a double take at us and wondered why the heck we were homeless and at the mall shopping.
Later that night I asked him why he asked for a new house and he told me it was for me. Talk about melting your heart....guess I'll be buying him a few extra Christmas presents this year!(-:
