hilarious

Yesterday Luke and I drag all three kids to Meijer for a "quick" stop to grab some things for the holiday weekend. Kai had dressed himself, I dont think his hair had been combed all day and he was wearing his "Bono" sunglasses- yes, IN Meijer. I glanced at him a few times chuckling at how ridiculous he looked, but quickly reminded myself he IS 4!!! Well, we were heading out and all were stopped at the gumball machine (a tactic for being "good" while shopping habit that has since stuck) A boy runs out of the store over to us- he was about 7 years old- and says to me and Luke "Your boy is TOTALLY AWESOME!!" with the most serious face. We thanked him and he ran off to his mom. We could not stop laughing all the way home. I said to Kai, "did you hear that?" He goes, "yeah, I know mom, it must be the glasses."
