Where has December gone!?

Our December was sooo packed with lots of fun things, that I have no idea where to start with 500+ pictures! So I guess I'll do a few separate postings to fit them all in.

Weekend #1: We started the month off with a bang! We hosted our annual neighborhood Christmas party (60+ people!)-it was a progressive party, but it started AND ended here.....oh around 3:30am. Yep, we were one tired couple the next day, but it was so much fun. We certainly got to know our neighbors on a whole new level. The very next morning (which came way to early might I add), we had the kids Amway Christmas party at the Celebration Cinema. We saw "Tangled" and the kids got to order their special drink "Orange Fanta" that is reserved for movies only. Mama needed a little more caffeine and opted for the Mt. Dew. That night, we headed over to Aunt Rene's for the Nieuwenhuis extended family Christmas party. The following morning, we flew from church directly to Muskegon for the Sterenberg extended family Christmas party. It was such a nice time catching up with all of the cousins, aunts, & uncles. Luke has been blessed with such a wonderful close knit family on both sides and we always look forward to seeing everyone.
Found my "inspiration" plates at Hobby Lobby. Love that place!
We did a wine tasting contest. Each couple brought a bottle of wine, we bagged it and tagged it with a #, and everyone voted.  Rodney Strong Cab was the winner!
This is bottle #1 & #2 of about 25! Eeeks. Those cute little tags were all handmade by my friend Sara.
This group of guys are just trouble. I'll leave it at that.
Aren't these cake pops adorable!? Yes, crafty Sara again.
The host and hostess.

The family Christmas parties begin.......

Aria marveling in the fact that she gets to hold a new baby cousin, Hazel. She was so precious and gave Aria good practice for her new sister(-:

Girl cousins/inlaws on the Sterenberg side
Sassy Sisters & Sister in laws. Aunt Sue, Aunt Kathy, Aunt Mary & Mama Sandy.
Kai loved all the crafts
Some of the cousins kids-it was held in a school gym and they all had fun running around and terrorizing the place. Don't ask me why my son is stripped down to his wife beater tank, he does this constantly!
