It's hard to believe Luke and I met almost 13 yrs ago (Apr 29th!) and have been married for almost 10 years. Where has the time gone? SO much has happened in those 10 years...probably more than we ever imagined. We've moved, changed jobs, left careers, built a few houses, developed new friendships and best of all welcomed 3 beautiful, healthy children into this world with one more on the way! We're so thankful for all God has given to us and we were happy to "start celebrating" ( i say start, because we'll still celebrate in June(-:) in Mexico. We met my sisser and her husband (who were celebrating their 20yr anniversary!!) and it was such a riot! Between 6 kids, we have never gotten away like this together, so it was even extra special! We pretty much layed on the beach, ate, read mags, floated (not swimmed-ha!) & had lots and lots of laughs. Some good memories were made on this trip and I'm so thankful we could make it happen.
The kids were tossed around a few places-Kelli was here for a few days, they went to the Kreiders for a night and then ended up at Grammy & Papa N's for 2 nights because our flight from Detroit to GR was cancelled. They said they wouldn't be able to get us out for 2 days, nor were there any rental cars avail. to get us back to GR. We met a couple from GR who had randomly asked a town car service if they would take us home. Of course they would....for the right price. We hopped in the car and met a wonderful couple on our drive home. It was nice to be reunited with our babies-this Mama has a hard time leaving them-but the 4 night/5 day trip was just what we needed to come home recharged. The very next morning, we were back at our chaotic routine(-:
