| Ready for Chicago! |
Our princess Aria turned 5 this month! I can hardly believe it.....where did the time go!? We planned a very special celebration....one I have been planning in my mind before that ultrasound ever even told me I was having a baby girl(-: I've had it all dreamed up for years now and finally the day came.....I was able to take Aria to the American Girl Place in Chicago! (-: I know, I'm not sure who was more excited...me or the Grammys...haha! We sure had a riot though. We went with both Grammy's-Grammy Link & Grammy Nieuwenhuis, Mommy, Cousin Haven, Auntie Tamara & Haven's other Grammy. Haven turns 5 in April, so the girls were able to celebrate together and have all of their Grammy's join in the fun. So many awesome memories were made and we had SOOOOO much FUN. I already can't wait to take Carys back and Aria is busy planning that trip for us(-: Happy 5th Birthday to my sweet, shy, but chatty Aria Kate. Here are photos that tell about our weekend in Chicago!
| Arriving in Chicago. We stayed at the Westin right across the street from AG. It was AWESOME! |
| The Birthday Girl and both of her Grammy's |
| Me and my sweet girl |
| Walking to the AG store... |
| We're HERE! |
| Let the shopping begin....BFF's. |
| They could hardly contain their excitement! |
| Aria brought her bitty twins and got Zoe's (African doll) hair done at the salon. Becket had taken a brush to it and that's a no-no with African hair! She was amazed and stood there watching the entire half hour. |
| Zoe's new hair style. |
| The BIG day....our brunch with our babies at the AG Place. |
| Grammy Link, Aria, Lucy, Zoe & Grammy Nieuwenhuis |
| So proud to take her dolls out for brunch. |
| Happy Birthday Aria! |
| All of us at Brunch....what a GREAT place! Food was good, and atmosphere even sweeter...they didn't miss a single detail. |
| Now on for the big birthday gift....time to get some bling in those ears! |
| These two were troopers....no tears....not one drop! |
| A birthday gift from Grammy & Papa Nieuwenhuis. An antique doll bed with homemade bedding for her bitty twins. Now the twins have two matching beds with coordinating bedding. Thank you for all the time you spent Grammy Nieuwenhuis. It turned out adorable. |
| Oh, and can't forget the 24 flippin' cake pops Mom made for the school birthday celebration. Never. again. And no, Aria did not decorate them even though it appears they have a 5 yr olds artistic touch. |
WE LOVE YOU ARIA! HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY!
