What a great Halloween we had this year! The kids both thoroughly enjoyed dressing up (even Aria had big smiles in her costume) and we managed to get WAY too many pictures once again. Kai looked lovely as a frog and Aria was a "glammed up" Lobster (just another way of making Kai's old costume work for her(-:) The weekend before, we got together with some friends and had fun socializing, getting the kids dressed up, carving pumpkins and stuffing our faces with Halloween treats. Then on Halloween evening, Grammy and Papa N. came over, brought us some yummy chili and passed out treats while we took the kids trick or treating in the neighborhood. Kai was so into it! He was running to each house saying "Trick or Treating!" and as soon as they would open the door, he would storm right in to check out their toys, dogs, you name it. Then as we were walking, he would try to snag all the little kids candy bags!! He literally would try to take their entire bucket and run! It was quite hilarious. We ended the night by engorging in all of our treats and hope to come off our sugar high soon!
