It's fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A

We bit the bullet last week and decided to join the Y. I have taken Kai to classes there in the winter for a few years now and he just loves it. They have a really neat indoor kids pool, complete with fountains and a waterslide, and best of all-free childcare! I was joking around with the director as an employee was taking my pic for my i.d.- he was inquiring as to why I joined and what area's of fitness I would like to improve upon. I chuckled and told him "Frankly, I joined for your free childcare and the big huge hot-tub that I'm about to relax in "kid-free"!" They laughed so hard that it took the guy about 10 times to take my picture. However, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, Luke (my personal trainer :-) ) and I had a good work-out together on Saturday, then picked up the kids and took them swimming. I think it will be a nice outlet for these yucky winter months we have here in MI. Now if I could just use it to get "fit", it would be well worth the money.
