Every so often, Kai's Papa Nieuwenhuis picks him up and the two go have breakfast together. Kai always gets his "usual" and is allowed to order BOTH pancakes and chocolate milk. Well, lately Kai has been calling us by our "first" names. Talk about strange hearing your two year old call you Janine! At first, I would correct him, but now I've decided to ignore it. Anyways, this morning Papa dropped him off after their breakfast and left. All of a sudden, he looks around and goes "Janine! Where did my friend Ed go???" Ok, that just about put me over the edge with the whole first name calling thing! Papa is now "My FRIEND Ed????" What's next??
