Our weekend at Great Wolf Lodge

I can't believe it's Thursday already and I'm just now getting around to posting about our wonderful Christmas get-away this past weekend. Luke's Mom and Dad hosted "Christmas" at the Great Wolf Lodge this year and we all piled in the car (except Jason and Joan) and headed to TC to spend a few nights. Kai absolutely loved it there, and I think Aria did equally as much. Kai loved the waterslides (even the biggest one!) and had fun listening to Santa read stories in the evening. All the kids had their Christmas jammies on with their eyes glued on Santa. It was very cute. There was so much for them to do and it worked out great to have Luke's parents down the hall so we could hang out in their room after the kids went to sleep. We had a KidsCabin so Kai had his own little cabin- he thought he was hotstuff. Sleeping wasn't all so hot as Aria stayed awake much of the first night. Much to our surprise though, she never awoke Kai. Must be the thousand fans/sound machines I brought(-: The kids also had fun opening their "stocking stuffers" (as luke's mom calls them) gifts this year- Kai was estatic about his new crocs and Lightning McQueen jammies and Aria got her first babydoll. We can definately see more family trips to the Great Wolf Lodge in the near future!
