Our lives....

We would like to reach out to our friends for prayer right now. God has his plans for our lives, but they have not taken the path we had hoped for. In a nutshell, we spent the past two years finding the perfect property, buying it, and designing a home with all of the ideas we have been stashing away for years. Now, because of an incredibly deceitful builder (whose red flags started appearing only about 3 months ago and stepped up tenfold in the past month), those dreams are being shattered. We have been completely taken advantage of from every angle. Not a good feeling. We find ourselves in a possible place where we cant build the house WE designed, with OUR money, on OUR land. The process has now entered into the hands of lawyers not by our choice, but his, where we'll spend the next several months losing thousands of dollars and everything we've worked so hard for. Bottom line: Our house has been a whirlwind of stress and tears over the past 2 1/2 months. Our two children have a way of keeping us sane with their funny words and cheerful attitudes and we try hard to thank God for all of the good things he has given to us admist these troubles. But I won't lie, it get's hard to keep up that attitude...very hard.

But what we do know is that God has a way of putting things into perspective (for some of us louder than others!) and we cant help but think throughout all of this despair that his divine plan will prevail. He led us into this, wants to teach us something greater and did it in a way that there were no humanly options. And while these earthly things couldn't have gone worse, we have put our trust and faith in Him to deliver us in His timing with His perfect will. Please pray for us as we endure whats to come over the next year.
